  农业宏(育种)基因组学创新团队

  首席科学家:  樊伟

  

  研究方向:

  农业物种基因组学基础科学问题和算法研究;近缘物种的比较进化与群体的驯化演化研究;宏基因组与有益菌筛选研究;农业环境基因组及其与农业物种基因组的协同进化关系研究;农业物种的基因组结构与定向设计研究。

    

  研究成绩:

  团队以农业领域的重要物种基因组为主要研究对象,利用组学大数据及多重组学分析技术,致力于揭示农艺性状背后的基因构成规律,开发具有农业应用价值的基因序列资源,为发展生物育种和改良农业环境提供基因组学和生物信息学支撑。自团队建立以来,完成了多项国际领先的研究成果,包括薇甘菊基因组、多头带绦虫基因组、福寿螺基因组、非洲大蜗牛基因组、绿盲蝽基因组,以及鸡肠道宏基因组、沼气宏基因组等,研究论文发表于Nature communications、Molecular Ecology Resources、Microbiome、GigaScience等国际期刊。

  Agricultural breeding genomics Innovation Team

  Research Field:

  Genomics research for agricultural species and bioinformatic algorithms development; comparative and population genomics studies; metagenomics and selection of beneficial microorganisms; the relationship and co-evolution of agricultural and environmental genomics; optimize genome structure and directional design of new species.

    

  Achievement:

  Taking agricultural organisms as the research object, using the omics big-data and multi-level omics analysis technology, our team aims to reveal the genetic basis of agronomic traits, discover beneficial gene sequence resources, and provides genomics and bioinformatics support for agricultural biological breeding and environment improving. Notably, in the past few years, we have completed several leading genomics studies, including Mikania micrantha,Taenia multiceps genome, apple snail genome, giant african snail, and Apolygus lucorμm, as well as metagenomics studies on chicken gut and biogas production, which were published on the journals including Nature communications, Molecular Ecology Resources , Microbiome, GigaScience etc.
